3 · WanderAn open forest trail and Long Beach if time allowsPrioritize your drive or ferry; do not force extra stops.

Day one: arrive and find the coast

Treat the trip to Tofino as part of day one. Check in, find your nearest public beach access and take a short walk if conditions allow. Have an easy dinner and confirm tomorrow’s meeting point. If you arrive late, skip the beach and settle in.

Day two: your main adventure

Choose one: a surf lesson, whale-watching trip, guided paddle or Hot Springs Cove. The hot springs journey needs the largest block of time. Keep the rest of the day open for a meal, a stroll and warming up.

Day three: rainforest and a final beach walk

If your return schedule allows, pair an open rainforest walk with Long Beach. Check park entry arrangements first. If you have an early ferry or a long drive, make this a simple breakfast-and-departure day instead.

Make this itinerary your own

For families, shorten outings and add warm indoor stops. Without a car, check every connection before booking the beach day. If weather cancels the main adventure, use rainy-day alternatives and ask whether your booking can move.
